Footwear and Equipment
A reminder for all members to please bring appropriate footwear and equipment whilst using the club, particulary on the courts.
We have had repeated recent instances of heavy marking on the squash court floors. These appear to have been caused by old racket grips which disintegrate and are then trodden into the floor during play. This has now happened on our brand new floor on court 5 which was a significant investment.
There is not an easy way to clean these marks and the only way to retun the floor to it's prior condition is to sand them at a cost of several hundred pounds per court. New grips are available to purchase at the club.
Changing Room Lockers
Please note that lockers are provided for use whilst using the facilities only, and not intended for permanent storage.
We will be removing any padlocks left on lockers on Friday 27th March, as there is a high demand for locker use in both the ladies and gents changing areas. Any belongings found in the lockers will be stored in lost property for one month and then disposed of if not collected.
