Easing of Squash and Racketball Restrictions

Dear [[firstname]]

Good news in that England Squash have confirmed that they have secured UK Government support to be able to ease restrictions that have been in place since courts opened again on July 25th.

What is now permitted from Tuesday 1st September is that members can form small groups known as "Bubbles". These groups can be up to a maximum of 6 people and those 6 players can play each other using 'full court' play (not restricted to "sides").

We have dedicated the notice board next to Court 1 to "Bubbles" and the detailed rules can be found there.

In order to form a Bubble, once you have identified your group, you should complete one of the forms - blank ones are available on the notice board. Then take that to Reception for a copy to be taken and initialed.
Then pin your bubble form onto the notice board by Court 1 and just go for it..!!

Obviously courts can be booked as you choose, but also "Club Night" is going to be renamed "Bubble Night" for the foreseeable future.

Note each player can only be a member of one bubble.

If you want to you can organise a "mini-league" within your bubble to provide more competitive matches.

We hope that this will bring more members back into active play. Any questions, please ask at Reception and we will respond ASAP.

Have fun, but be aware of distancing and stay safe..!!

Regards,
Richard Lowe
Squash and Racketball Chairman
