Padel Lead

I am delighted to have the opportunity, as Padel Lead to contribute to the future development of Padel at Solihull Arden. I believe the club has been extremely successful in recent years in enhancing the facilities and establishing Padel as an extremely popular, accessible, and competitive sport, particularly due to the flourishing internal leagues. I appreciate greatly the work David Currie, my predecessor, and other volunteers have done to help promote Padel and achieve this enviable position.
I hope to be able to meet and introduce myself to as many members as possible in the next few weeks, in particular those Padel players who have recently joined Solihull Arden.
My immediate priority is to set up a small Padel Liaison Group comprising members who represent all sectors of the Padel playing community at Solihull Arden. I hope this group will help strengthen communication channels and provide a beneficial forum for members to explore and consider various ideas and proposals to enhance the Padel experience, support player development and extend the range of social and competitive play.
Should any member wish to discuss or offer support for any aspects of this work. I will holding a meeting on Tuesday 12th September 2023 at 7.30pm.
