Tennis in Covid Tier 4 - Update

Dear [[firstname]]

As promised the club have reviewed the options for sorting floodlights while the club is closed due to the latest Covid rules.

The simplest solution we found was to set the lights on automatic and provide them free for members - at last something good out of lockdown! The lights will come on at 4.00pm to 9.30pm on weekdays but will not be available at weekends as member usage is really low on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Please note that the clubhouse will be closed and unmanned so there will be no toilet facilities.

Seb's club nights singles have been really popular and I am sure it will be a huge success. If you want to be added to the list just text Seb on 07568 584897. Please abide by the rules with no social gathering before or after the game and we will be able to keep the club running.

Clearly the latest Covid lockdown restrictions announced just this evening, mainly to do with schools are yet more restrictive. In the meantime we will follow the most recent LTA guidelines and our tennis courts will remain open and floodlights automatically switched on from 4.00pm to 9.30pm. If guidelines change we will communicate updates.

Many thanks,

Paul Stanley - Tennis Chairman
