We are pleased to announce that the Solihull Arden Club is replacing the Tennis flood lights on courts 4-7 with new 'LTA' approved LED flood lights. These new flood lights will dramatically improve our tennis offering throughout the darker months of the year and improve our environmental footprint.
In order to action this prior to the darker nights arriving this year the work will be commencing from Monday 29th July 2024, we will be aiming to complete all works by the end of August 2024 ready for the winter season.
The courts will remain open on the evenings and weekends, however some restriction will be expected during the daytime hours. We intend to keep as many courts open as safely possible throughout this period.
Due to the age of the lights a complete electrical re-wire is required with ground work ducting for new cables being fitted, added to this is the electrical installs and civil work which explains the timescale of the project.
