Squash and Racketball Leagues

Dear [[firstname]]

Our squash and racketball leagues were shut down by the first Covid lockdown in March last year, but now that restrictions have been largely lifted, happily we can re-start these opportunities for members to get the chance to play competitive squash.

Both Squash and Racketball Leagues will re-start from Monday 14th June and the first league will run for approxinmately 6 weeks until 31st July to give everyone time to get used to organising matches. After that, leagues will be from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month, both for Squash and Racketball. If numbers of people joining the leagues becomes significant, we may again 'overlap' the squash and racketball leagues so that they do not finish on the same day with too much need for courts, but that's "down the road" and we will monitor things.

To join either the new squash or racketball league, please write your name on one of the sheets (or both!) on the notice board on the RH wall as you enter the squash corridor just past the changing rooms, OR email Steve Morton at smsmorty@gmail.com. Please tell Steve which league you would like to start in.

Leagues are managed on the MyCourts court booking system and results are recorded there so it is all easy for members who participate to manage.

For those who have never played league squash/racketball before, be aware that it is the very best way to meet other keen players who are happy to play 'social' squash and racketball to provide even more opportunities to get on court..!!

Go on - give it a try..!!

Best Regards,

Rich Lowe
Squash and Racketball Chairman
